If you’ve ever visited Old Town Warrenton, chances are you have seen, walked by or eaten at the Black Bear Bistro at least one time. The Black Bear Bistro is a beautifully decorated restaurant that contains 2 main dining rooms with gorgeous stone fire places, 2 large bars that seat at least 10 people at each as well as a patio area for outdoor seating. The restaurant is perfectly designed for small parties of 50 or less people for functions such as rehearsal dinners or corporate lunch meetings. There are many different types of cuisine served at the restaurant such as American, Cajun, French, Italian, Soul Food, Seafood, Vegan and Vegetarian. A few examples of what kinds of food you will find at the Black Bear Bistro are BBQ pulled pork, burgers, pizza, sandwiches and so much more.
One of the main goals that the Black Bear Bistro strives to provide for its customers is the freshest ingredients that are locally grown or produced in the Warrenton area. It serves locally brewed Virginia beer and wine as well as locally grown vegetables and meats that are all served at an affordable price. Black Bear Bistro is open daily at 11:00am and serves lunch, dinner and late-night drinks, which all ranges in price anywhere from $10.00 - $30.00. Black Bear Bistro is even dog friendly when the outdoor patio is open during the warmer months.
I have only eaten at the Black Bear Bistro one time and it was a few years ago but I must say that I still think about that delicious pulled pork sandwich that I had that warm spring day. I also definitely try to suggest this restaurant to any out of town guests that we have at the hotel that ask for restaurant recommendations. It is truly a delicious place to eat and a wonderful atmosphere to be a part of. I don’t think any person would ever regret visiting the Black Bear Bistro in Old Town Warrenton.
