Morais Vineyard and Winery

Fauquier County is known by many as “wine country.” This is primarily because there are over twenty wineries in this area. The other day I visited the Morais Vineyard and Winery located out in Bealeton, Virginia. Not that I am a wine connoisseur by any means, but this was one of the most beautiful vineyards I have ever visited.

Owned by a Portuguese family, the Morais Vineyard and Winery first started producing great wine over 20 years ago. Just over a year ago, the actual building with 2 tasting rooms, wine cellar and a large ballroom, was opened on the property to host events and welcome people from all around to come and enjoy the delicious wine.
