Warrenton-Fauquier Heritage Day

For eight consecutive years, the Town of Warrenton and Fauquier County have supported the local community event called the Warrenton-Fauquier Heritage Day. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 from 9:00am to 3:00pm. The event is free and will be held rain or shine.
On the day of the event there are several different activities that people can walk around and enjoy. Beginning at 10:00am there is a parade that walks right down Main Street in Old Town Warrenton. A living history event will take place directly after the parade at the Warren Green Building, where there will be a portrayal of Federal General George B. McClellan. If lectures are more of what you are interested in, there are several of those that will take place all throughout the day beginning at 8:30am. All of Warrenton’s museums will also be open all day with several fun activities for people of all ages to enjoy.
For more information on this event please call 540-341-7019.
