The Flying Circus Air show

Every summer, from May to October, the Flying Circus comes to Bealeton, Virginia. Although I have never personally been to the Flying Circus, everyone I know who has visited says that it is quite an amazing show to see. This past Sunday, May 6th was the kick off for this year’s Flying Circus Air show. Some of the different aspects of the air show include watching a wing walker as he hangs from his ankles below a biplane’s bottom wing as well as a barnstormer hopping into a vintage biplane from a makeshift airfield. The air show takes place every Sunday in Bealeton, Virginia from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. It costs $10.00 for adults and $3.00 for children, ages 3-12.
In addition to the air show every Sunday, there are also several other special events that take place throughout the summer. People are welcome to partake in open cockpit airplane rides that costs anywhere from $70.00 to $130.00 depending on what type of ride you want. New this summer is the Air Balloon Festival that will take place on August 18 & 19. These rides will be available for people to take from 7:00am – 9:00am and then again from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
If you’re in the Warrenton area this summer and are looking for something fun to do one Sunday afternoon, drive on down to Bealeton and check out the Air show. Visit the website at www.flyingcircusairshow.com for more details and prices.
